    Offered here for your consideration
    is a piece of US Civil War Confederate War Funding history in the form of a  Tax Receipt (# 51) from Sumter County, Florida. Dated 19 November 1863 in receipt of .82 "For His Confederate Tax"  and signed by the Sumter County Collector "G. L. Granberry". The paper is fragile (I don't want to remove it) as it's been in this holder since I put it there in 1969 and the photographic glares are the reflection of the plastic.
